Choices
My day started early with the Team Young NTUC Volunteers at NTUC SilverAce Centre. We played interactive games, colouring activities and lunch with the elderly. What I liked best was the warmth emitted by everyone present. There's no ranks nor positions, everyone just wanted to give their best and give happiness to another person, especially the elderly.
Straight after that, went back to Tampines, get changed and rush down to HQ for SEA Games training. I must say that whenever there's human contacts, there will be human revolution, and I'm proud to say that I won over my fundamental darkness.

As much as I enjoy being in my own world, I couldn't deny the fact that this quote is the reality. I'm glad that the nature of my work and the religion I'm practising enable me to keep polishing myself, bettering myself day after day.
To conclude, yesterday was an enriching and fulfilling day. A day which I had many self-realisation moments. Even though it was a Saturday and a rest day for many. Despite getting rest, I started working at 9.30am and only ended at 12 midnight. This could mean having a "rest day" wasted, but if you resolved to make every single moment a value-creating one, then every moment is a pleasure.
It's a choice. :)
